Office Hours: Office #22; Friday [09/24].
It was possibly a very bold strategy on his part, but Shunsui felt that the most formidable opponants required a bold strategy. But knowing full well what awaited him for the better part of the weekend (because she'd literally sent it to him in all its glorious, organized form), Shunsui decided that he may as well try and hide in plain sight. Because the last place Nanao-chan would expect to find him would be in the exact place he probably should be for this weekend.
And that was in his office, kicking back, sandaled and sockless feet up on the desk, a comfortable pillow under head head, and a jug of sake in his hand.
Of course, he did run the risk that Nanao-chan would suspect that he would suspect that the last place she'd expect to find him was actually in his office, and therefor, she would figure out that he'd assume that was the best place to hide, but, well, that was a risk he was willing to take!
But for now! Some drinking! And possibly napping! And maybe hoping someone's lost and attractive mother getting a headstart on meeting with the teachers wandered in not knowing where to go and needing some assistance and maybe just a small sip of sake to get her weekend started...

"Hello?"

Just give him a moment to refill his sake cup there...

"Sorry to interrupt, but I just wanted to make sure, my mother hasn't stopped by, has she?"

The intrigue in his voice as he sat up slightly was genuine, too. He'd happily keep an eye out. It had been a hot minute since he'd last managed to hook up with someone's mother at one of these things....

She would also not approve of Shunsui, Kiem was quite sure of that.

"Well, if she does show up, Kiem-kun," he drawled, "I would be delighted to have the privilege ♥. After all, I have been a captain for well over a thousand years, you know. I like to think I could go toe-to-toe," and maybe other parts to other parts, "with a compatriot of the military ♥."
Ohhhh, Shunsui was going to be terribly disappointed that he wouldn't even have the chance!

General Tegnar also wouldn't go toe-to-toe, or any other bodypart - with Shunsui.
She's, well, strict."
And quite disappointed in Kiem.

"I can assure you, Kiem-kun," he said, "that if she decides as much, it will not be on account of me...♥."
He smiled, gave him a nod.
"So we'll see you on Monday, neh ♥?"
Where maybe the topic just may be about altering one's strategy in the advent of new, interesting information...

And the multiverse might never know what a meeting between General Tegnar and Shunsui would have been like.

Since Alara was taking a lot more classes this semester, Solana thought the least she could do was check on her progress.
So after she met Alara at the picnic, she decided to get a head start meeting her teachers, she knocked on the door, “helllo?”

"Ye~es~ ♥!" Shunsui sang out, delighted for whoever this guest may be based on that hello alone. "It's open~ ♥ Come on in~~ ♥!"

And with that, the drink was poured, and Shunsui leaned forward a little to better offer out the small cup cradled neatly between his long fingers.

"And with good drinks," he continued, smiling dotingly across the desk at her, "comes good conversation, neh ♥? So, tell me about yourself, Solana-chan. Tell me about Alara-chan ♥! I assure you, she has been a delight to have in class, although, by all means, if you have any concerns or thoughts regarding her education, especially in the field of battle strategies and tactics....I should love to hear them ♥."

“Of course,” she nodded, considering her answer, “my sister and I are from the planet Xelaya, our father works for the university … it’s quite a prestigious position, I’m working towards completing the honours program and eventually pursue a PHD” she told him. “I’m glad to hear that Alara is doing well in class,” she felt that it wouldn’t be fair to Alara to mention that she wasn’t as academically inclined the way other Xelayans were, so she left that part out, “Even though I must admit that I’m surprised Alara signed up for a class on military tactics, she has not shown an inclination that she wishes to pursue a military career,” she admitted, “I’m not sure if she’s told you much about our planet, it’s … a rather controversial topic at home,”

"Xelaya," he decided, "sounds like my kind of place, then! Especially," because how could he not squeeze this in there?, "if the women are as beautiful as you are, Solana-chan ♥. I am a bit of an artist myself, you know! A writer, actually! Of great epic novels and sleeping poetry ♥. I actually much prefer pursuits of art and beauty over ones of war and battle...is that where you, too, fall on this spectrum of interests...♥?"

Plus, he was actively trying to avoid a visitor of his own, and there were far worse ways to do that than a little beachside stroll with a student's lovely sister.
